Lucio Balduini is an argentinian guitarist, composer and arranger from Patagonia. Often categorized as a jazz musician.
Lucio Balduini is an eclectic and versatile guitarist who has participated in some of the most intelligent and energetic Argentine jazz bands. Lucio Balduini has, indeed, played his guitar in various projects together with Mono Fontana, Juan Cruz de Urquiza, Guillermo Klein, Hernán Merlo, Enrique Norris, Mariano Sívori, Mariana Baraj, Pipi Piazzolla Trío, Escalandrum, Melina Moguilevsky, Esteban Sehinkman, Fer Isella, and Lucio Mantel, among many others.
He has edited three solo albums: Lucecita (buri 2007) Viento Divino (Club del disco 2012) El bosque brillante (Club del disco 2017) In October 2012 Viento divino was elected Album of the Month by Club del Disco.The album was highly praised by the specialist press. That year, they chose Lucio Balduini best guitarist according to the poll conducted by the website El Intruso (The intruder). Also, «Viento divino» was named Best Album of 2012 after a poll was conducted by the same website among Argentine musicians.

He has taken part in festivals of Latin America (Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay), and Europe. In Argentina he has performed in many of the most important venues, among them: Estadio Luna Park, Teatro Coliseo, ND Ateneo, La Trastienda, Biblioteca Nacional, Centro Cultural Konex, Casa del Bicentenario, Centro Cultural Haroldo Conti, Teatro SHA, among others. With different projects he has traveled through all Argentina: Salta, Jujuy, Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, Córdoba, San Juan, Catamarca, Mendoza, San Luis, Santa Fe, Rosario, Mar del Plata, Pinamar, Necochea, Rio Negro, Neuquén and Chaco).
